Today humanity is plunged in pain, the immense demographic increase, the increase of ambition and power, has led humanity to poverty, hunger, cruelty, wars, corporate and state struggles, where the only one who pays is always the "simple man".
It is not only humanity that is in mourning, nature is even more in mourning. Increased mass production of animals for human consumption, deforestation, species extinction, pollution, are some of the ways in which nature dies every day. So much death condemns humanity that it is ultimately the cause of it.
Latin culture: "sowing".
A "cultured" individual is said to be educated, knowledgeable about many aspects of civilisation, a studied person and of measured character.
On the other hand, the word "Gnosis" (Greek: "gnosis") means "knowledge".
Socrates used to teach that sin was through ignorance.
This is why we see knowledge as the basis for the fulfilment of cosmic laws and the triumph of human purpose.
Cosmic laws not only have a reason for being, they also generate balance. Otherwise without laws there would be chaos and no purpose in the universe.
How could an individual comply with a law if he or she does not know it or its benefits?
Knowledge is fundamental to understanding the outer world, its laws and the inner world and its laws. Depending on the individual's understanding is his unfolding of his emotions, instincts, thoughts and actions. This ultimately defines his life.
The Gnostic Culture teaches techniques that allow a person to open their mind, to understand themselves, freeing themselves from behaviours or wrong ways of thinking that have been carried over from childhood.
Philosophy is taught: To learn how to change emotional states in function of rational truth.
Psychology is taught: "Taking away what we have too much and putting in what we lack", sculpting ourselves to be good individuals, benefiting those around us and achieving fulfilment with ourselves by having the peace of mind to be living in the best way. These psychological changes are not forcibly, violently or repetitively self-induced, as this would not work and would not be based on truth.
Gnostic psychology teaches us to mould ourselves through understanding, for it is when one understands something that it makes sense to make a change.
The knowledge of the Gnostic Culture is based on the knowledge given by all the guides of humanity such as: Jesus the Christ, Gautama Buddha (India), The Dalai Lamas, Quetzalcoatl (Aztecs), Horus (Ancient Egypt), Mahatma Ghandi (India), Confucius, Plato, etc.
The principles taught by these guides of humanity converge at the same point; love.
The Gnostic Culture is an Institution created to understand this knowledge and to share it with humanity.
It is based on four forms of universal knowledge.
- Science: Science discovers and comprehends all the mechanical phenomena of nature, of the individual and of the universe, on all planes of manifestation (physical, astral, mental, causal, etc.).
- Art: Art is pure knowledge. Sometimes a picture explains something better than a thousand words.
- Philosophy: Philosophy is a kind of knowledge that helps us to find the truth. In practice we often use it to maintain a positive state of mind in the face of life's eventualities.
- Religion: Religion, mysticism, is a path that helps us to reconnect with our god. True religion is the one that ignites a person's heart in terms of truth. A truth that is not dogmatic, but scientific. This is why Gnostic Culture considers that Religion and Science have to work together. Religion without science becomes dogmatic and ridiculous. Science without religion could fall into the error of making all kinds of diabolical and destructive creations and violating countless ethical and moral laws in order to reach an end. True religion is a kind of knowledge because it leads to Truth.
