"We are now going to study Inspiration. Inspired knowledge gives us the power to interpret the symbols of Great Nature. The interpretation of symbols is very delicate. Many clairvoyants have fallen into the crime of public slander for not knowing how to interpret symbols. Symbols must be coldly analysed without superstition, malice, mistrust, pride, vanity, fanaticism, prejudice, preconceptions, hatred, envy, greed, jealousy, etc.
When the "I" (of the conceptual mind) intervenes by translating, interpreting symbols, then it alters the meaning of the secret writing, and the clairvoyant falls into the crime which can land him in prison. Interpretation must be tremendously analytical, highly scientific and essentially mystical. One must learn to see and to interpret in the absence of the self, of the self, of the Ego.
If our words and thoughts and deeds are not righteous, then the result appears in the inner worlds and the Law falls upon us. Law is Law. Ignorance of the Law does not preclude its fulfilment. The worst sin is ignorance. To teach the unlearned is a work of mercy.
One must know how to interpret the symbols of Great Nature in the absolute absence of the Self. However, self-criticism must be multiplied.
We must know how to interpret based on the law of Analogies, Philosophies, the law of correspondences and the Numerical Kabbalah. We recommend the Mystical Kabbalah by Dion Fortune. That book is marvellous. Study it.
One who has hatred, resentment, jealousy, envy, pride, etc., fails to rise to the second step called Inspired Knowledge. When we rise to inspired knowledge we understand and realise that the accidental accumulation of objects does not exist. In reality, all the phenomena of Nature and all objects are intimately organically linked with each other, internally dependent upon each other, and mutually conditioning each other.
No phenomenon in Nature can really be understood in its entirety if we consider it in isolation. Everything is in constant motion, everything changes, nothing stands still.
In every object there is struggle, internal struggle. The object is both positive and negative at the same time. The quantitative is transformed into the qualitative. Evolution is a process of complication of energy.
Inspired knowledge enables us to know the interrelationship between all that is, has been and will be. Matter is nothing but condensed energy. The infinite modifications of energy are absolutely unknown to both Historical Materialism and Dialectical Materialism.
Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared.
In the heart is the heart chakra, which gives us the inner sense of inspiration. Among other faculties.
To develop it, it is necessary to vocalise the mantram O every day, concentrating on the heart. Inhaling deeply and exhaling pronouncing the vowel Ooooooooooooo.... until the air runs out. And repeat it for one hour while maintaining concentration.
You can start by vocalising for a few minutes and each day extend the practice more and more. This will also fill us with harmony, energy and vitality.
