We all know that the mind<\/strong> is related to our thoughts<\/strong>. However, thoughts are one thing and the mind is another. Nowadays, neuroscience has demonstrated the relationship between emotions, thoughts and attention and the brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certain areas of the brain are \"light<\/strong>\"Each time the individual sets his or her attention<\/strong> in some specific aspect, or if you feel any particular emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brain is fundamental in the creation of thoughts, however, the thought is not a material matter<\/strong>. Obviously thinking is psychic<\/strong> and unfolds in the space that we call \".The mind<\/strong>\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emitting Mind and Receptive Mind<\/strong>
There are two functions of the mind:
Emitting Mind:<\/strong> Performs mental creations such as; Thoughts, Structures, Projections.
This mental functionalism is useful for making a creation, for example solving a graphic puzzle or playing chess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is said that \"think before you act<\/strong>\". Contrary to popular belief, however, thinking as such not so useful in our daily lives<\/strong>as the conscious decisions<\/strong> are often not the result of a chain of thoughts, but of the \"Reflection<\/strong>\". Reflection is an attribute of the \"Receptive Mind\" which has no direct relationship with thoughts but with our awareness<\/strong>.
Receptive Mind:<\/strong> It receives information, elements and states, from our own inner world as interpretation (or reflex<\/strong>) from the outside world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Receptive Mind is the mind of the Wise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is this to be understood?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Imagine a lake, with a landscape, trees and the sun. If there is a strong wind, the water in the lake moves chaotically, reflecting a distortion of colours, where you can hardly notice what is what in the landscape.
If the wind dies down, the water in the lake becomes still and the reflection it produces is an exact copy of the reality<\/strong>.
The mind works in the same way<\/strong>. If a constant flow of thoughts, unconscious aspects, various emotions and projections is maintained in it, the reflection of reality it gives us is distorted according to these.
The mind of an ordinary individual is generating at the same time a myriad of diverse elements at different levels of our conscious and unconscious. It is enough to walk for 5 minutes observing our mind, to verify that we produce thoughts and associations at every moment, being these only from the most conscious area of our psychology.
The deeper aspects are imperceptible to the ordinary citizen.
This generates a large \"noise<\/strong>\"in our minds, not allowing for the correct use of the \"mindfulness<\/strong>\".
If, on the other hand, it is achieved decrease the flow of thoughts and associations<\/strong>by bringing the mind to a state of reflective - receptive<\/strong>The reflection of reality that we will obtain will be directly related to the reality itself.
This explains why everyone sees what they want to see, and why we all have a different point of view for the same object under observation.
It also demonstrates that \"reality\" we do not know it<\/strong>This is already proven by modern advances in neuroscience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the Gnostic Culture recommend?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A great master of mankind told us: \"The best way to think is not to think<\/strong>\".
Gnostic Culture teaches to free ourselves<\/strong> from the great flood of \"noise\" in our mind. To free ourselves from thoughts, associations and projections that they take us away from reality<\/strong>.
Through the practice of\u00a0meditation<\/a>\u00a0(1\/2 or 1 hour a day), the Mind is educated to remain in responsiveness<\/strong>in inner peace, in absolute control of the attention and in possession of the \"reflective faculty<\/strong>\".
By achieving \"mindfulness\", and the \"reflective state\", we will be able to observe with much more clarity<\/strong> the course of our lives. We will be able to understand ourselves, others, the world and the world around us. understand the purpose of our existence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whoever manages to have his mind in his absolute favour, will be a \"good man\".enlightened enlightened<\/strong>\". Since it has the power to see the reality<\/strong>.
We invite you, dear reader, to meditate for one hour daily. At first we will believe that there is no apparent change. But do not be discouraged, for in a few months you will begin to find your inner light.
