PARSIFAL, WAGNER's masterpiece, is one of those treasures of humanity, which, like others, gives a physical form to universal wisdom. Parsifal is an inspiration of its creator, something that comes from his own inner essence and that is why only through the attributes of our own essence can we come to understand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Parsifal, Wagner's thought seems to be veiled by intent; indeed, in order to make sense of certain philosophical allusions, when we succeed in doing so, we have to make great efforts of divination and mental reconcentration, because in this work, as in a nightmare, we find the most diverse elements confused: High questions of philosophy, biblical and oriental memories, mysticisms, orthodoxy, vestiges of Catholic worship, pagan rituals,necromancy, somnambulism and hypnotism, practices of medieval chivalry, ecstasies, asceticisms, piety, redemption, affinities of material nature with the human soul, love in its clumsiest meaning, love in its purest meaning...\"<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom, universal knowledge, exists by itself, and therefore it is inevitable that in various forms it expresses itself on the face of the earth. Knowledge is expressed, as in this case, in Wagner's great Parsifal, and it has also been expressed in great works of literature, painting, music, sculpture, architecture of all times. But that wisdom, that knowledge and above all that inspiration is in ourselves and all around us, in a flower, in the reddish sun of some afternoons, in the tender hands of a mother. As well as in the sacrifice of a father, who out of love, out of conscience, works for his children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us look for that inspiration in our lives and in true works of art, by truly inspired authors. And let us look within ourselves for wisdom, peace and well-being. Because if we do not find it there, it cannot possibly be given to us by anyone from outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
